The funding entity

Techne Capital funds great ideas

Techne Capital is the funding entity of the Techne group. It does one thing: it funds great ideas, and most of what it funds goes into Techne Ventures — the venture studio that builds them.

That is the whole description, deliberately. Amounts, stages and terms are not published here; they are settled in conversation, one idea at a time.

Capital is the narrow half of the arrangement on purpose. It does not build the companies and it does not hold the method — that work belongs to the studio, and it happens next door.

Capital and studio

One funds. One makes.

Techne Ventures is a venture studio for the agentic economy. It works with Makers — architect, builder and visionary in the same person — to build agentic-native companies on the Decidr operating substrate.

Keeping the two apart is the point. “Should this be built, and can these people build it?” is the studio’s question, and it is a different question from “who is funding it?”. Answering them in separate rooms keeps both answers honest.

So if you are here to be funded, you are almost certainly here for the studio. It is where the work starts, and it is where the money follows.

Getting started

Start on the studio’s side

There is no form here and no chat here. The conversation lives on the Techne Ventures site: a handful of closed questions about where you are starting from, and an email address so a person can answer you.

Techne Capital runs no intake of its own. Anything that reaches the studio reaches Capital when it needs to.
